I have Maths homework to do. Yup. More Maths. But I shall not even think about it til I get this done. (Do I have my priorities straight or what! :P)
Okay, I think I've been WAAAY too depressing lately. What to do. Boy problems. HAHA. Oh, the problems are all in my head. Do you know that it's actually nice to listen to depressing songs? Depressing songs are sooooo nice!!!! :D
Ahem. Okay. I shall stop being THAT much of a weirdo for now. School wise, everything's all peachy and strawberry-y and appley and nice. Well, save for said boy problem. Pah. Stupid idiot. I don't know if I mean me or the guy but yeah. Stupid idiot.
Oh I've mentioned that I'm editor for our NIE group, hey? And did I also mention that my group consists of 9 boys and 1 girl a.k.a me? Yeah. You can tell how they chose the editor. Smart asses. That aside, I have my work cut out for me. Thank GOD I have people I can rely on 100 % not to give me a headache. Enthusiasm vs skill. Argh. Why?!!
Uh oh. You know what's the problem with having someone on your mind? You want to write about them. Sigh. I HATE it when he smiles at me. It's so not good for the brain, heart, adrenaline excretion device* (lol! Biology student konon :P)... Sucks. Somebody help me!!!
Hey, actually, I wouldn't mind Deb's cute nephew coming to my rescue *grins* She says he's too old for me, though. But then again.. she doesn't know that with me, old is good :D Plus, he can't be THAT old. She's only in her 30's. So he must be max, mid-20's. HAHA. Okay, Elaine. Don't go gettin' no ideas now. You's stupid enough without makin' yerself stupider. *whacks self on head*
Okay. Topic diversion. Um. Another thing that totally sucks. You know how when you find out something that you'd rather not know? Yeah. There is something that I know now, which I should know, but I wish I didn't have to. It's just... sick. Will have to update ya, Ju. I'm just so geli-fied, it's not even funny!
I have talked too much. And as usual, it's whiney. Why does school always turn me into a whiney lout? Yeeha. Oh by the way, I have BSB's new album.. and I'm lovin' it, baby!!! Like it much much better than Black and Blue. BSB IS BACK!!!! Muahahahaha!
I'm outta here, people. The Maths book beckons! (Hopefully the next post will be a little less complainish and won't depress me even more :P)
*POI: I DO know it's the adrenal gland.. It was joke!! *laughs hysterically* Hmph.

I Was Just Thinking....
There is a dead kitten in the garden. It's been there for a couple of days already, so the insects have been having a field day. It's a heart-wrenching sight, this tiny form - lifeless, being ravaged by beings 0.000001 times it's size... Brings a tear to the eye.
But I can't help but think that that little kitten has got the better end of the deal in life. It'll not have to know what it's like to be chased, frightened half to death by dogs and humans, drenched (or scalded) by humans with jars of water, what it means to have to forage daily for food, to go hungry for days on end... Yeah, that little critter's certainly got an advantage over all the others in the cat world.
And certainly over us humans. Death seems like a terrible tragedy sometimes (and sometimes, it is). But what is death, really, other than an end to suffering? An end to useless pursuits, none of which we can take with us to the next life.
My aunt said something the other day that rang awfully true. We spend all our lives slogging to get good results, degrees, good jobs... But at the end of the day, life has no guarantees. One can put in so much of work into something, only to have it come to nothing if his life is taken away the very next day.
I suppose she was feeling philosophical, as the daughter of her friend is dying of cancer. She doesn't have long... the cancer has spread everywhere, and there's nothing more to be done. However the really horrific part of this is that she's only 33, and has 2 daughters - one 5 and one 2. It's hard even to think about it. But the tragedy is not for the one dying, but for the ones left behind.
All this makes me wonder whether us humans take ourselves too seriously. We only have to work so hard to get a piece of paper because other humans have dictated it to be so. If only people could see the important things in life are not what you can get or take, but in the giving and receiving of experiences, thoughts and feelings between human beings.
Life isn't about things, it's about people. We spend so much time trying to bring ourselves up in the world, that relationships are all but forgotten. Your big house, car, swimming pool... These will not remember you once you're gone. They're not the ones who'll face years of sorrow for times not spent together.
If only we could change the materialistic mindset that has made this world, this life, so impersonal and meaningless. Maybe then we could meet our Creator without regret on both our part and on the part of those we have left behind.
Yes, that kitten has certainly got the better deal. It never has to see what the world truly is, and that is the best fortune that little thing could have.

Sigh.
It seems weird.. My posts lately have all had negative vibes. Today is no different. This morning I just realized something that I probably would have been better off not knowing, or realizing or whatever. Who would have thought that I would fall into the same hole I swore I wouldn't?
I had to unearth a painful memory in the hopes of helping a friend. I hope it did, I really do. I had no idea how much thinking about it would affect me. The memory of it still tears at me, even 2 years after the fact. The hurt has faded, but I don't think it'll ever completely go away. I guess he meant too much to me for that.
My advice to all who have someone really special to you, whom you've yet to tell - please, PLEASE forgo pride and do it! The feeling of "too late" is probably the worst thing ever. It can break you. Believe me.
"I just want you to know that
I've been fighting to let you go
Some days I make it through
And then there's nights that never end
I wish that I could believe that
There's a day you'll come back to me
But still I have to say
I would do it all again
Just want you to know"
- BSB : Just Want You To Know
Yeah. That about sums up a lot of stuff.
(I can't stop thinking about someone, although he is SO different from me, it's not even funny. Sigh. I do know how to get myself into situations.)

Numbers Numbers Numbers :(
A short post today.. Don't have much time. Hm. I still like Maths. It's just that an over-load of numbers and figures over the past two or three days has made my head spin. Too much of Maths. Waaaay too much. On top of the fact that I'm trying to get my Physics book to make an iota of sense. Ain't easy. Phew.
What's hilarious is, I left the Bio-Chem class to go to the pure science one. And people are leaving my class to go to Bio-Chem. In other words, they're dropping Physics. Which, I, in all my masochistic brilliance, left the "easy" class to take up! Woohoo. Someone congratulate me (or knock my head, whichever you prefer).
I'm actually enjoying school, surprisingly. Haven't had the urge to skip just yet :D Which is kinda unusual for me. Hehe. But then again, my sense of self-preservation must be kicking in. One day of missed school could mean MORE unexplainable, un-doable Physics work to slog through. So... yeah. Besides, I do a lot of my homework in school. It's actually easier to do homework in school. The bed at home's a little too tempting for comfort.
I don't think I've ever been this hardworking in my entire life! I've been doing nothing but opening school books. I think I only read a few pages of one of my many new story books last night, then fell asleep. That was about... 11 something. Which is LATE, as far as my present bedtimes go. I now go to sleep as early as 10 p.m. Record time? You betcha! No more late nights for me.. I already fall asleep in class more than I should, as it is!
Gosh, I've only been writing about school lately hey? Man. Shows how much of a life I've got! :P Ju! From one "no life" to another "no life". Sniffles. Oh, and I'm the editor for our NIE group. Yippee.
Sigh. Back to work. I still have a ton more Math problems to figure out.
HHHHHEEEELLLLPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Couple o' Lines..
I'm tired. I get panic attacks. I miss a whole bunch of people a whole lot. I'm hot and sticky and sweaty. Sigh. And I complain a whole lot too. Whoopee. Nothing much to say, just that I feel like writing. No time for anyone - it's a lucky thing I got to see Ju today. I barely even have time for myself!
Good thing we're moving ASAP. At least once everything's settled, I can get into a proper routine and not feel so damned tired all the time. And I'm sleeping a heck of a lot earlier (Greg'd be proud of me :P). But I get up waaay earlier too. So it kinda cancels itself out. Haha.
I've only watched 1 1/2 episodes of Jewel in the Palace and MI this week. Talk about record breaking! That's probably the least TV I've ever watched - excluding in Australia, but that can't be counted since there wasn't a TV to watch in the first place. And I'm hardly online! I only sneak time in between. It's a good thing I can crap fast. Coz otherwise my blog'd be pretty neglected too.
S'funny. I still enjoy school, for all my complaining of tiredness. It's just the moving that gets to me. My poor mum. I don't even want to think of what it's like for her :(
Bright side - once all is done, it'll be a BIG relief and a lot easier to cope with all the work. I'll just look forward to that, so the faster I finish packing and moving, the earlier I get to relax a little. So um. I should go finish packing now.
Buhbye.

One Week Gone.. Dang!
Wow. One week of school is over. So fast!!! This is scary, I tell ya. Coz the faster time goes by, the less time I have to finish the lot I have to study. And it's not a little lot. It's a lot lot. Argh!
This week has been rather - interesting. Mainly coz I've been, to quote my aunt, a "nomad", moving from this house to that house... Plus, they didn't have a place in the Pure Science class, initially, so I had to go to the Bio-Chem class. And miss out on 2 lessons of Physics. Which, btw, isn't a good idea, coz the teacher we have is just, flying through the chapters! (Which basically means, I'm now in the Pure Science class la. Yay. More work.)
The lessons have been okay, though all the teachers are breaking speed limits, trying to finish the syllabus. Poor souls. They have their jobs cut out for them. And for the first time, I'm actually finishing ALL my homework!! Haha! :D Okay, so it's partly coz I don't have people like Ju to yak and yak and yak with the whole day long (meaning our lessons don't get paid any attention.. :P). And partly coz 99.9% of my class speak Chinese 95% of the time. Woohoo. So yeah. Plenty of time to get my work done.
But I must say I kinda like my class. Most of them are real friendly, and they make the effort to translate stuff for me and the only other non-Chinese in my class. But then again, 5 out of 6 lessons are in English, so I'm not suffering too much :D Made some new friends too - not surprising though, that they're all from diff schools, and not ex-CHS students. And they're all girls. HAHA. I'm sitting at a table full of boys though so... Makes a BIG change from seeing only girls for 5 years in MGS :P
Okay. Sigh. I've got work to do so I'll try update the ASAP. Which may not be as soon as I like. Yeehaw. Buhbye people!

Cleeeaninnnggg...
I am so tired right now. That's probably what comes of being a lazy bum for 6 months then having to clean up a newly renovated house. Ugh. Dusty. Filthy. Esp the bathrooms. Esp MY bathroom. Which, being my bathroom and all, I had to clean. Ugh.
Wouldn't have been quite so bad if my knee wasn't still swollen from that hang gliding fiasco. I couldn't kneel (which would've absolutely killed me), so I had to squat. And let me tell you, squatting for hours is NOT a good pastime. Not if you value your calves and ankles, anyway.
But the killer was... THE HEAT! Oh boy oh boy oh boy. No fans. No air cons. And blazing hot sun. ARRRGHH!! First chance we got, mum and I went off to A&W and grabbed a couple of root beer floats. Oooh. Aussie has spoilt us. Bad Aussie.
I like my room though. I've got a VERY nice room. Best room in the house. Brightest one, too. Coz I'm the only one with a room that has COLOUR. Haha. Nice colours. Nice room. Okay. I'll shut up.
Anyway. Mum's chasing me off, so I'd better get my arse off this comp before she kills me. Goodbye, everyone. School starts in 2 days. Whoopee.

Update..?
So I'm back in hot ol' Klang. And I do mean HOT! The minute I stepped out of the airport, it was like slamming into a wall of heat and humidity. Ugh. I've now got an itchy throat. Can we transfer Aussie weather here. Please?
Anyway, I had a great time there and since I'm too lazy to go on prattling about what I did/saw there (I don't think anyone really reads all of it anyway), I'll make another list. Of whatever I feel like listing. Deal? Goot.
1. Vacuum cleaners are not as uncomplicated as I once thought.
2. I think I prefer the regular, old-fashioned way of sweeping and mopping. Lugging around a VC ain't no fun, people.
3. Sydney is almost a carbon copy of KL. Minus the haze. And add a few more whites. Key words - A Few.
4. Malaysia has the best Asian food. Period.
5. 18 days without TV is a looong time. Esp when I had to miss the last few episodes of LAX. *sobs* Bye bye Paul Leyden! *waves mournfully*
6. I wish my Aussie cuzzies lived here. Or we lived there. Well. We ALL lived there. Lim cuzzies and Fernandez cuzzies. Coz Aussie air is better. And Aussie has Paul Leyden.
7. I actually prefered Economy class to Business class. So sue me. Economy was a bit too... open for me.
8. Mr. Dreamy Eyes' name was Andy. (And to think I only found that out on the last day. Sniffles! Haha.)
9. I have damn good parents. Reasonable - most of the time, anyway.
10. It's gonna be so weird to leave Klang.
11. Oh no! I gotta start studying!
12. Help!
13. No more guy watching for me *sobs* :(
14. I'd say guys who hug other guys were comfortable with themselves. Not necessarily gay.
15. I think it's healthy for everyone to hug everyone else. In the platonic sense, of course.
16. I just got to know an 18 year old seminarian. 18. Unless there's something wrong with my math, that makes him my age. Yikes. I think I should start praying more.
17. David hasn't changed. Sniffles.
18. Funny how 16 year old guys look a heck of a lot more mature when you're 12.
19. People in Malaysia should smile more.
20. Aussies smile/greet everyone. I better remember to not to say "hey how are ya" next time I walk into a shop. I'll be getting a lot of "do I know you" looks from people. And they say Malaysians are friendly.
21. I need to wean myself off the comp. Coz I'm gonna have to study. Sigh.
22. Gonna see Oliver on Saturday. YAY! My first real life musical! :D (Stars of the Musicals doesn't quite count.)
23. I miss Aussie. More to the point, I guess I miss my cousins. And Duane, if you read this, I feel like your baby sister already! *winks*
Okay. I'm done. Nuff lists for now. Yeeha. Pictures coming up. When I can figure out to resize them. They're HUGE.
PS: I know some non-bloggers read this, so if you guys wanna leave comments, feel free. Just use the other or anonymous option ;)

Short
I've just spent 5 days with family from my dad's side - 2 days in Melbourne and the weekend in Sydney. I had an amazing time - not so much seeing the sights as being able to spend time with them. I hardly ever get to see my cousins (give or take 4 times in the past 18 years), so it was great getting to talk to them and all.
I'll probably write more when I get back to Malaysia. I don't get much time on the comp to actually think of what to say and stuff, so yeah. I'll just summarize things when I get back. Ju, not that many more guy updates. My crushless stance continues *winks* I don't know, Ju. Personal record, maybe? Haha.
Anyway, I don't who actually reads this but to Duane, Diane, David, Kathy, Cheryl, Dane - it was awesome meeting you guys. Thanks for taking time to spend with mum and I. (Cousins : thanks to your parents as well for taking us around.)
Jono : welcome to blogger madness, cousin dear! :D
I don't wanna go back. Going back means starting work. Uh oh. HELLLLLP!

Mornington
Spent another day on the road - this time, to the Mornington Peninsula. This time round I didn't exactly SLEEP on the journey.. I, er... kinda dozed off. For a few minutes only!!!! *grins sheepishly*
I was supposed to go horse-riding (they take you out to the bush on 1 hour, 2 hours or more), but when we got there, the first group was already about to leave. The guy told us to come back at 1 p.m. for the next 2 hour group. I chose not to, though. It was so COLD! I didn't want my butt freezing to the horse.
So we went to Point Nepean. I LOVED IT THERE. They had all the forts and stuff from the 1800s, all used during World Wars 1 and 2... And the places were preserved exactly as they were before! Now, anyone who knows me knows that I'm a sucker for history. I think I could've spent all day just walking around and soaking in the atmosphere. They had some unaccessible places, like the soldiers' barracks and stuff... But oooh. Jen and Ju and all you other history buffs, I wish you'd been there with me! We coulda had so much fun imagining what it was like when there were soldiers walking around. Sigh.
I had a hang gliding accident today. Yep, you read right. Hang gliding. 'Cept that it wasn't me on the hang glider. Haha. We saw this guy fixing up a hang glider, so being the busybodies that we are, stood and watched him setting up. Then he asks us to help him carry the hang glider up to the take off place. So we did. Then he tries to take off, but instead of going of the cliff, the glider turns round... and heads directly towards me and my aunt! Haha! Man, the look on his face when that happened... and the way it barrelled into us, I'm surprised my aunt and I weren't knocked of the cliff and didn't suffer much more than a sore butt (her) and a scraped knee (me). Poor guy. He was SO worried.
Anyway, I don't have much more to say todya. I'll type more when I don't have time restrictions. Sigh.
Bye y'all. 7 days to go! :(
I was supposed to go horse-riding (they take you out to the bush on 1 hour, 2 hours or more), but when we got there, the first group was already about to leave. The guy told us to come back at 1 p.m. for the next 2 hour group. I chose not to, though. It was so COLD! I didn't want my butt freezing to the horse.

Weekend Drive
Just came back from a road trip along Great Ocean Road. A weekend long trip. The journey was tiring, but the view - absolutely, breathtakingly gorgeous! The whole drive long we could see the power and beauty of the sea, whether just the rolling of the waves, or the swells breaking across the cliffs and rocks.
The thing that was great about the journey was that we had views on BOTH sides - the ocean on our left and hilly regions on our right. Scattered livestock grazed all over the place, and let me tell ya, I have NOT seen so many cows in my entire life! (Real cows, Jen, not the ones that exist in MGS and whatnots *winks*).
We spent the night at Apollo Bay, and we managed to cover Lorne, the Erskine Falls, the Cape Otway Lightstation, Gibson Steps, the 12 Apostles and the Shipwreck Coast, the last of which provided us with a view so spectacular, I can't describe it, and doubt I'll ever have a chance to see again. All the superlatives in the world are inadequate. It was simply - heavenly.
But the beauty of the Shipwreck Coast also lies in the treachery of it. There can't be any doubt why it was called that - and when you look at the huge rocks and cliffs, and the power of the water, it isn't hard to imagine how it managed to claim so many lives.
We spent a lot of time at the Shipwreck Coast. I could definitely go back there. Hopefully, I will. Anyone wanna come? *smiles hopefully*
We mostly stopped to admire the scenery along the way. Every stop gives you a different angle, so each has a different kind of beauty. We were very blessed - the weather we had all weekend was perfect for the kind of view we wanted - when the sea was at it's most awesome. Plus, it was sunny all day today. So yeah. Certainly blessed.
I'll post pictures up when I get home, and explain what each album/section represents. Oh! And we had a fireplace and I lit a fire! :D More of that, when I get home.
I saw Lavinia on Friday, with her friend Daniel. It was interesting, seeing her again. Can't believe how fast we've all grown up! We didn't really have much time to talk, but I guess it was good, seeing her for the first time in 3 ++ years!
Uh oh. I overstepped my personal typing limit. Gotta go! Pics to come in 9 days. See y'all!

Borders, Books and Boys
We went shopping today!!! :D Or at least, the older peeps did. I just hung out at Borders. Mmmm! Anytime better than wearing out my poor feet looking at things I can't afford/don't need.
Bookshops are excellent to hang out in - they're comfortable, just the right temperature (most times) and are filled with man's greatest invention - BOOKS! Haha. I could've spent the whole day there, and not notice the time fly. Woohoo. I am addicted to fantasy. And Val McDermid. But I can't find cheap Val McDermid books. Sigh.
It just sucks that I can't buy any of them books. They're so expensive when I convert the currency. And I haven't the heart to spend that kind of money. Especially since I've already got tons... And I'm 400 bucks poorer.
Speaking of which... I love my new camera! I've been taking random shots of everything - and deleting most of them. I wish I could capture what I see exactly as I see it. But I'm afraid my lack of skill is sorely apparent. Sigh. Oh well. I like 'em, so... Guess that's what matters hey?
And speaking of the camera... I saw Mr. Dreamy Eyes again today! Ah. Okay, so glimpsed is more the word. Not surprising since he works in a store near Borders. But funnily enough, he was going INTO Borders when I saw him. Haha. Just my good fortune! :D One thing though, the only thing I find attractive about this guy is his eyes. But oh what eyes! *grins* Just for the record, I do not have a crush on him, so Ju, you can rest easy ;)
I am currently out of the crush game right now. I do not like LIKE anybody. I have no inclination of doing that. Besides, I haven't found anyone worth wasting brain power on just yet.
Argh. Little brothers can be so irritating. Well. Let's just leave it at that. I'm a bit too annoyed to elaborate now.
Tomorrow I meet Lavinia. Yay. I can't wait. And now I'm going to sleep. After I talk to my annoying kid brother. Who needs a kick on his over-comfy little butt.
Good night

List-ings
I'm typing this out of sheer frustration. My whole post got wiped out (through my own dumb-headedness) and I forgot to save it!!!! Augh! *pats self on back* Hooray for my excellent work.
We didn't do much today, by way of sight-seeing or anything. So since lists are apparently a craze, I shall make yet another one :D
The things I learnt/did today:
1. Thou shalt not eat too much bak kut teh. No matter how absolutely scrumptious it is.
2. Clothes that will bake you in Malaysia have ZERO effect over here. Brrr.
3. Never drink Milo that has been made with 100% freshly boiled water. A scalded tongue is inevitable. (You would think I'd know that by now *rolls eyes*)
4. We've got a digital camera! Bought it today - a 6.2 megapixel digicam. Hooray! :D
5. I short 400 bucks (1200 Malaysian) coz of said camera. Yeeha.
6. Another reason God gave us 2 hands : So we can turn off the hot and cold water in the shower simultaneously. So that we don't get scalded/frozen.
7. I saw my first pair of drownable eyes today!!! *swoons* They were INCREDIBLE! (Okay, so the rest I've seen were in pictures. This was in real life!)
8. I wish I could share all this with someone close to me... David, my cousins, Ju... Or maybe an unspecified member of the male species whom I shall not name *grins mischeviously* (I'll give you the whole sorry story later, Ju. You'll want to strangle me. I swear! :P)
9. I actually LIKE the horrible cold. Makes me think of cuddles. Mmm...
10. I'm in love with the Nobbies. I want to go back there so bad!
11. I've reached the conclusion that I'm not necessarily attracted to HOT guys. Just guys with drownable eyes. And relatively unskinny bodies. Lol.
12. I've bought 8 books! Yay! More books!
13. I've just remembered I go back to school in 2 weeks. Yikes. What am I going to do with all them books?!
14. My favourite season at present is autumn. I'll let you know if I change my mind. Once I get to experience the other three *grins*
15. I missed American Idol today!!! ARGHH!
16. I want Bo Bice to win. I LOVE BO BICE!
17. I feel like going out for a walk. But it's 2.10 a.m. Sigh.
18. It's only in cold weather that the sun is greatly appreciated. It was so cold today, that when the sun came out for awhile, my aunt and I stood facing it, warming ourselves, and generally behaving like we've never seen the sun in 10000 years. Or something.
19. I just realized that I know a LOT of people who have same names. Let me do a count...
(i) Adrian/Adrien - 9
(ii) David - 8
(iii) Elaine - 5
(iv) Michelle - 5
Those were the Top Four. 9 Adrians! Goodness.
Okay... Believe it or not, i'm getting sleepy. So I'll stop here. I'll try and make more coherent lists next time. My writing's getting a bit sad these days. Oh boy.
Bye y'all!

Phillip Island
Day 4 in Melbourne is up. I only have 2 weeks left. Yikes! Time passes so fast, it's scary.
All right, today we took a full day's trip to Phillip Island. True to recent form, I fell asleep in the car. For almost the entire 1 1/2 hour journey there. I don't know if it's coz I'm not getting enough sleep or something, but my eyes are super tired today. I woke up with bleary eyes and no amount of cold/hot/warm water could make me look anything but half asleep. Sigh.
Anyway, we stopped at this cute little waterfront town called San Remo, just before the bridge to Phillip Island. There was a jetty and a few boats bobbing around just a few feet out in the water. Stepping out the car, though, was ... well, an experience. The wind blowing in from the sea was a) strong, and b) cold! It was impossible to face the wind for too long, my eyes were watering so much!
We bought a pack of seafood and chips (one serving with 4 fish filets, 3 prawns, 3 calamari and 3 mussels, and the 5 of us struggled to finish it! 0_0) but were forced to eat it in the car because sitting anywhere uncovered with food would mean... The Attack of the Sea Gulls! Lol. Seriously, there were dozens flying around, and the minute they noticed you had food on you, you'd be followed like the Pied Piper!
The rest of the day I'll divide into sections:
Churchill Island:
This was a tiny island off Phillip Island. There wasn't really much to see there, unless you like history. Like me. The history on display was of the first settlers on the island. They actually restored the house, stable, wash house, larder, cellar... that the settlers used!
And all rooms were decorated in typical 19th century style, in the way the occupants would have left it. Ooh, gave me the shivers it did! Imagine, a house long unlived in, but left in the way that it was more than a 100 years ago! Intriguingly freaky, would be a really bad way to say it, but I can't think of a better one. Sigh.
Woolamai Beach:
We stopped by at a surf beach after that... There was hardly anyone there, but the beach was littered with birds! Dead birds. Turns out they were called "mutton birds" and died trying to fly or start scavenging. They got too tired and landed on the beach, and couldn't make it back to safety. Aaww... :(
The Nobbies / Seal Rock:
This is where I have NO idea how to describe what I saw. It was heavenly, breathtaking, awesome, superb, magnificent... Right. We went there at almost 5 p.m. which was almost sunset. The sight of the sun shining over the open water... The 2 rocks that form the Nobbies silhouetted against the evening sky... Wow.
But that wasn't the best of it. The most beautiful part was along the coast and cliffy areas. Where the waves crashed into the rocks below. The sea was rough today, but colours and the foaming water gave image to the words "the angry, roiling sea"! The waves were so big, and the sight of them gaining momentum and then smashing into the rocks in a huge fountain of spray was completely breathtaking! For once I have no words at all to say what went through my mind during those moments.
Penguin Parade:
This was another highlight of a very very nice day :D The Penguin Parade is where humans sit in bleacher like things and wait for fairy penguins to come in from their fishing trips out to sea and head back to their burrows. These penguins are so cute and small you wouldn't believe it! They don't grow to much more than 30 cm in height! Can you imagine?
Anyway, the came up in little groups, one group at a time, each group coming in at different sections of the beach, depending on where their burrows were. It's amazing how they know exactly where to go! But oohh the way they walked was beyond cute! It was hilarious! I only wish I could show it to y'all, they were so cute!
Oh and a funny thing - it seems that autumn has similar weather conditions to spring. So the penguins get confused and actually try to mate! Lol! It was so funny to see all these tiny little things pairing up and the male trying to entice the female... Gosh! They're more like humans than we realize! Haha! :D
That's all about today, I guess. There was another place Cowes, that we visited. It was really quaint and overlooked the sea. I wish I could afford a holiday house there. Sigh. Well, I guess I can dream! :D
What I got out today was more than just memories of a beautiful place. It was an affirmation that there is a God and that He is great and very very real. After all, such beauty could not exist without a Creator - and the result of that creation is more than a testament to God's greatness.
More coming up, and pictures when I get back! ;)

Koala Conservation Center:
We stopped here for a little while, just to see what it was like (and also coz we bought a 3 park ticket, and didn't want to waste 8.50 hehe). It was this place where we could view the koalas in their natureal habitat... Meaning we had to stare up into these HUGE eucalypt trees to look for them. That is, walk with your neck craned up to the sky permanently. Then slightly further on there's a warning sign "There are snakes here too, and yes, they will bite! So watch your step." I'm like, "Wha-?" Look up and look down at the same time????

1/6 of Trip Gone!
I.Am.In.Australia.
I.Am.Out.Of.Malaysia.
Woooooooohhhhhhhhoooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!! :D
Right. Okay. Had to get that out of my system. Funny, time flies so fast - we've already been here 3 days! And it feels like nothing. Boy oh boy is 18 days gonna be up quick. Sigh.
Anyway. Brief (if that's possible with me.. lol) summary of the past weekend....
The most notable thing is that I saw a LOT of trees. Of various colours... One word: BEAUTIFUL! (You know I think that word is very underrated). The combination of different colours on a single tree was breathtaking enough, what more a whole row of them, side by side! Aaaah... So nice!
We went to a winery yesterday. I don't normally like wine, but after yesterday, I'm a convert :D Seriously, though, the wines we tried were really really good. A lot nicer than the crap I usually get to drink.
Ooooh the eye candy is AWESOME! Beauties everywhere, la I tell you!!!! Jen, Ju - I'm in visual heaven!! *roflmao* Seriously, you do NOT get species like these in Malaysia, nah uh. Jen, imagine Chicken Rice Boy, a hundred times more good-looking and multiplied by the dozens all over the place! *drools* This is SO not the place to be letting me loose in! *grins wickedly*
I am going to get fat. My regular "I'm hungry" snack is milk and a Tim Tams choc biscuit. Oooh woe is me. Funnily though, I'm usually so full from lunch, I skip dinner. Ah hell. I hope they cancel each other out :P
I'll probably be seeing Lavi this Friday. I can't wait! Will be great to see her again after so long. I'm betting she's a lot taller than me now. Aussie food seems to have that effect on people ... I feel like a shorty, sometimes, but I'm one of the tallest Asian girls I've seen walking around. Whooo.
Anyway, I'll stop here. Will update as an when I can (argh! I'm starting to sound like my aunts! :S Oops..).
I'll quit now, before my fingers fall off (it's really cold!!!!). Bye!

Anyway, I'll stop here. Will update as an when I can (argh! I'm starting to sound like my aunts! :S Oops..).
I'll quit now, before my fingers fall off (it's really cold!!!!). Bye!

-none-
I'm listening to the American Idol Compilation CD. It's very well-produced. But the songs most of them chose/were given? to sing are lousy. They're all good singers, but the song choices bummed. The only ones I liked were by Carrie, Bo and Anwar. Oh, and the finalists' single la. Haha. That one was... *swoons*... to die for! Me = sucker for soppy love songs.
I thought Ju Li was a nut, writing stories for the essay part of the English exam - and what stories too! But it turns out my bro is more like her than he likes to think. Ju, you and him can start a book writing club la. The dude was supposed to write an essay under the heading "An Unforgettable Incident" or something.
Well, in true Ju Li-esque style, he doesn't write about conventional stuff. He HAS to go and write that he's on a plane in the US that is being hijacked. Oh and to top it off, he mentions Uzis, submachine guns and whatnots *rolls eyes* God, Ju. You've got a protege la! Haha! (Dunno whether he'll like that though.. :P)
Ah. There are more or less 26 hours and 45 minutes til I'm on that airplane out of here! Boy, I can't wait! HAHA. BYE BYE MALAYSIA! Wooohooo!
Seriously, seeing the same country and holidaying at the same places every year (Fraser's, Penang, Singapore, Malacca) can get a tad tedious after 18 years. I am so so so glad to be getting out of here, you can't imagine! (Also a contributing factor - 5 1/2 months stuck in the house).
I'm going to miss a few things, though - the FA Cup final, the Champions League final, the American Idol final, the beginning of Malaysian Idol.... Woohoo. But those aren't anything compared to what else I'll miss - Ju and David's birthdays (hey.. maybe the writing thing has something to do with the 26th of May... lol!), I Yin's birthday, talking to certain people... Sigh.
I'll still enjoy myself though. Count on that! I'll make sure I have loads of pics to share. And on all the different types of scenery too! *winks*
Ta, everyone! I'll update if I can get to a comp anytime during those 18 days ;)

Current Fave Song
This is the American Idol finalists' single... And their version makes me want to cry. Sigh. I'm being a sentimental idiot. I should learn to keep my head out of the clouds.. But a girl can't help but dream, can she? Anyway. Enjoy. Beautiful song. Sniffles.
I wanna call the stars
Down from the sky
I wanna live a day
That never dies
I wanna change the world
Only for you
All the impossible
I wanna do
I wanna hold you close
Under the rain
I wanna kiss your smile
And feel the pain
I know what's beautiful
Looking at you
In a world of lies
You are the truth
And baby
Everytime you touch me
I become a hero
I'll make you safe
No matter where you are
And bring you
Everything you ask for
Nothing is above me
I'm shining like a candle in the dark
When you tell me that you love me
I wanna make you see
Just what I was
Show you the loneliness
And what it does
You walked into my life
To stop my tears
Everything's easy now
I have you here
And baby
Everytime you touch me
I become a hero
I'll make you safe
No matter where you are
And bring you
Everything you ask for
Nothing is above me
I'm shining like a candle in the dark
When you tell me that you love me
In a world without you
I would always hunger
All I need is your love
To make me stronger
And baby
Everytime you touch me
I become a hero
I'll make you safe
No matter where you are
And bring you
Everything you ask for
Nothing is above me
I'm shining like a candle in the dark
When you tell me that you love me

I don't know what to write, but I'm going to write anyway. Lets see you try and stop me. Hah!
What is it that makes people care about other people? I can't quite figure it out. I've known some people almost all my life, yet I can't really work myself up when they're sick, or someone passes away. Sure, there is a twinge of "Oh, poor thing", but nothing more than that.
But then, there are some people I have only recently known who can make me want to go to any lengths for them. Owh. Shocking. I guess it isn't the length of time you know someone that makes you friends. Its the amount you share and how much you're willing to give of yourself. Yeah.
I've got a crick in my neck. Help. Why oh why do I get aches and pains like a grand old lady? It's just not natural, I tell ye! First it was my lower back (thanks to that sorry excuse of a trampoline daddy got.. pah!), then my ankle, now my neck. Hey, isn't that a lot of injuries for a couch potato? Seriously, how strenuous can lying in bed be?
Aussie trip in 2 days! Yeeeeha! Can't wait, can't wait, can't WAIT! :D I sound like the world's biggest jakun right now, but who cares? I'm leaving Malaysia behind for once in 18 years and it feels bloody good!
Ow. And I must have a cavity or something coz the eclair I just ate nearly killed my teeth. Sigh. Better go ask dad.
I'll keep y'all posted bout Australia.

Me = Maths Teacher? Joke!
Having a kid brother who's sitting for exams tomorrow and studying today can be quite an experience. Especially if he hadn't been studying at all for the past 5 months. I thought I was bad - David absolutely takes the cake!
I can't help but pity the guy, though. With the prospect of failing looming overhead.. It can't be easy on the ego. But knowing him, he'll say it doesn't bother him and shrug it off. Hm. Wonder how long he can keep doing that.
Anyway. It was Add Maths today. Interestingly, he's gone for most of his tuition classes, but true to Fernandez form, hasn't done an iota of work since whatever class he learned a particular topic. Yeeha. I just love how younger siblings follow in your footsteps.
The only difference between him and me is this - he has an older sibling to help him out. In whatever small way she can. Haha. Hey, I do, okay? And for the record, I don't confuse him. At least, I think I don't. He seems to get it, though, so that means I'm doing something right. Right?
Oh lordy. That aside, I surprise myself sometimes. You'd think with how terrible my study techniques were last year, that I'd have forgotten everything. Apparently not. I can still remember as far back as fungsi. Which is a very good thing. Funny, though. The penyempurnaan kuasa dua I did was the right technique, but wrong answer. I'm still trying to figure that one out...
Ah hell. Ju must be laughing her brains out by now. Elaine. Trying to figure out Add Maths. For her baby brother. MUAHAHAHAHA. Hmph.
Oh well. At least I'm getting some satisfaction out of it. Now I know that I'm not a complete hopeless case at all. But that makes me a sad case. Sigh.
I am never gonna be a normal kid. Blah.

'Kitos!
If there is one creature I can't for the life of me figure out why God created, it's the mosquito. I have yet to come across an organism that is more annoying (other than certain a species of little brother that I shall not name). Torturers should take heed - the sound of a mosquito buzzing in your year is a hell of a lot more excruciating than dripping water. TRUST ME.
Within two days, I've had more than 30 mosquito bites - and that's just on my right arm! 20 or more of which are from the elbow above. Blah! Let's not take into account my left arm, my legs, my FACE - good Lord, the latter alone is enough to make me cringe. I get pimples once a month. The rest of the time, the only spots on my face are mozzie bites. Unfortunately, those look like zits. Sigh.
Doesn't help too, that I'm super allergic to mosquito bites. Once bitten, I'm scarred for life. Hell, even til now I have scars left over from childhood. Not to mention the new ones on top of it all. It's no wonder the new people I meet don't have anything better to ask than "You got chicken pox ah?" Um, hello? If I had chicken pox, what the hell do you think I'm doing wondering the street? *rolls eyes*
Ah well. I've had 18 years to get used to it. And I am. I used to hate my skin, now I don't give a damn. What I am sick of, though, is people asking stupid questions. And being stupid about it at the same time. If I really DID have chicken pox, about 3/4 of the people who've asked me that would've been sick in bed not long after. LOL! You do NOT hang around someone if you think he/she has chicken pox, people. Not a good idea at all, no no no! *shakes head ala Duckie*
You know what would be a revolutionary scientific discovery worthy of even the Nobel prize? A way to exterminate all mosquitoes - permanently. At least from my room.
Right. Til that happens, I'll just have to go back to catching mosquitoes the old-fashioned way - with my bare hands. Shieldtox and whatnots don't work. Pah.
It's the mosquito dinnertime right about now. I guess I'll go accomodate my guests. Sigh. Bye.
