I've started packing up. Putting all my earthly possessions into boxes. I can't believe I'm moving down to PJ. By myself. True, I'll be staying with my grandma, but it'll be the first time away from my parents. Whoopee! Now if only I had a car... *grins wickedly*
Anyway. The packing's taking ages. I have a LOT more things than I thought. A lot of which I haven't needed/used since primary school (most of which are the stickers and stuff that we ordered from catalogues). I guess you could call me a hoarder. I think I still have some hair clips that are more than 10 years old! Eeks.
That's not the scariest part though. I have, to date, filled 5 big boxes with books. And the books are all squashed up so tightly together, I'm seriously wondering how on earth I'm going to manage getting them out.
To top that off, I have one more shelf of books to pack up. Somebody pinch me. I had absolutely NO idea that I had that many books. Well, I knew I had quite a few, but man! This is seriously too scary. And I can't bring myself to get rid of a single one. Sigh. Oh well. I'll look at it as the first step to my future library. Even if the packing, unpacking and lugging the boxes around is a pain in the butt.
Next I have to pack up all the CDs, bits and pieces that I've got from birthdays, etc. over the years. Sigh. Now that's another headache. Coz most of them are breakable. And I've gotta sit down and wrap 'em up. Whoopee. Moving house is da BOMB. Trust me.
Oh and let's not forget the CLOTHES. Haha. Haha. It's a damn good job I like arranging and organizing stuff. Otherwise I'd be having a nervous breakdown by now. I have such a limited time frame since school starts next week AND I'm going to Australia (whoopee!) next Friday for 18 days. Yep, and when I get back it's time house-cleaning time. Yeeeeeha. Hmph.
Oh well. At least it's something to look forward to. I'm hoping a little more freedom is the result of this madness. If it is, I'll consider it all worth it *winks*
